Dark Spot Removal

What is Dark Spot Removal?
Dark spots — whether from sun exposure, hormonal changes, or past breakouts — can be stubborn and difficult to address with topical products alone. At Infini Beauty Studio, we use targeted laser technology to break down excess melanin deposits in the skin, revealing a clearer, more even complexion.
Our treatment is precise enough to address individual spots without affecting surrounding healthy tissue. The laser energy is selectively absorbed by pigmented lesions, fragmenting the melanin so your body can naturally eliminate it over the following days and weeks.
Whether you're dealing with solar lentigines (sunspots), post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), or age spots, our practitioners will design a treatment plan suited to your specific pigmentation type and skin tone.
Process
How It Works
Consultation
We examine your pigmentation using a skin analysis to determine the type, depth, and cause of your dark spots. This informs the appropriate laser settings and expected treatment timeline.
Skin Prep
Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for at least 2 weeks before treatment. Discontinue any AHA/BHA products or retinoids 5 days prior. Arrive with clean, bare skin.
The Treatment
The targeted laser is applied to each pigmented lesion individually. You'll feel a brief heat sensation with each pulse. Sessions typically take 20–45 minutes depending on the size and number of spots treated.
Aftercare & Results
Treated spots will temporarily darken and form a light scab before flaking away over 1–2 weeks. Sun protection is essential post-treatment. Most clients see clear improvement after 1–3 sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Treated spots are eliminated, but new spots can form with continued UV exposure. We strongly recommend daily SPF 50 use to prevent new pigmentation.
Treated spots darken temporarily (appearing darker for 3–7 days) before crusting and flaking away. This is a normal and expected part of the healing process.
We carefully adjust our settings for each skin tone. Deeper skin tones require a more conservative approach — your practitioner will advise on the safest protocol for your complexion.
Topical products work on the surface and are slow to show results. Laser treatment targets melanin at the source and produces visible improvement much faster, though good skincare post-treatment helps maintain results.
